Give us this day our daily water

It's amazing how much we can conserve if we have to!

This last week our family has been living off of 4 buckets of water a day, as that is all that has come from the tap (between 8-9 in the morning is when it comes on). Ben and I were reminiscing about being single, living with locals and showering with 1-2 liters a day.

We are grateful as it's always been enough, and we've even had enough to give to our guests to shower with sometimes!

Thankfully yesterday, we had the first rain of the season! Extremely gentle diamond drops fell for nearly 8 hours through the night. We had to move where we slept 5 times through the night (first we got wet on the roof, then it was too hot in the house, then out on the porch, etc.,etc...). But we are so thankful for this first glimpse of hope to this region!

We are praying hard for early consistant rains as the whole region is desperate for it!

But, thank God has has not abandoned us!

We just stood out in the rain and laughed! Thank you, God!
