Redemptive Sour Yogurt

Sour yogurt. Loads of it.

I had made a batch of yogurt a few days ago and it turned sour. The direct sunlight that I put it under was too strong.

I thought to myself, "Great. I've wasted money and what am I going to do with TONS of sour yogurt?".

Ah hah....but isn't God redemptive!

That next night was the night that our neighbor died. The following morning, about a hundred people were gathered at their home and it was HOT. 45C to be exact.

Then I remembered something. The favorite drink among our local friends here is made from sour yogurt. They mix it with cool water, sugar and vanilla and it's poured over ice.

I just so happened to have bought a TON of vanilla sugar the day before too.

After a fluster of wisks, sugar, and sour yogurt flying all over the kitchen, I brought the drinks next door and *everyone* (totally a "loaves and fishes" moment!) was able to drink.

They were so thankful, and I was so humbled. God even uses my "mistakes". Even sour yogurt!
